Our teachers won prizes in the Young Teachers' Teaching Skills Competition

      On November 24th, the 16th Young Teachers' Teaching Skills Competition of Beijing Normal University was held in Zeng Xianzi Building. Zhang Xin, a teacher of our school, won the second prize. Guo Xueru, a counselor of our school, won the third prize.

      The 16th Young Teachers’ Teaching Skills Competition was co-organized by the university’s labor union, the Party Committee Communication Department (News Center), the Party Committee Teacher Working Department (Teacher Development Center), the Party Committee Student Affairs Department, the Academic Affairs Department (Graduate School), and the Human Resources Department. The purpose of this competition is to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and President Xi Jinping’s philosophy of a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, implement the spirit of the National Education Conference, strengthen the development of faculties, give full play to the competition in improving the quality of faculties, guide young teachers to study teaching skills, enhance teacher’s exchanges, continuously improve teaching abilities, and turn out more all-round qualified teachers.

     The first Young Teachers’ Teaching Skills Competition was held  in May 1991, blazing a trail of teaching skills competition for young teachers. In the past 27 years, after 16 events, the competition has become a brand activity of the university. It has also gradually developed into an influential job skill competition event in Beijing and even in the whole country.
