The finals of the 9th "Zhengda Cup" National University Student Market Research and Analysis Competition was held at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications on May 25-26. Nine students of our school representing two teams won two first prizes at the national level with their works: Do you like “smart fresh food”? – Study on the New Model of Fresh Food Convenience Store Based on Beijing Smart Retail Model and Research on the example and influence of Beijing university students.

    The National University Student Market Research and Analysis Competition is co-sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee of the Statistics Department of the Ministry of Education and the Commerce Statistical Society of China and the Chinese Applied Statistics Association. This year’s competition is hosted by Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. The competition has been included in the academic competition rankings of universities and is a first-class national competition. 209 teams with 969 students from 121 universities of 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government gathered in Nanjing for the national finals.

　This is the fourth time that our students have participated in the finals of the market research and analysis competition. They have won 6 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes in the national finals. The School of Statistics attaches great importance to the competition, which examines students' ability to analyze and solve problems, enhance students' ability to collaborate and deal with problems. It is an all-round assessment and training for students.
