Beijing Normal University，Zhu Hai is an important part of BNU’s strategy of building a comprehensive，researched-based，teacher education leaded university，world class but also with Chinese Characteristics.
Statistical study at Beijing Normal University has a long and rich history and is the birthplace of China’s statistical education. In 2014, the University formed the department of Statistics by consolidating academic sources between mathematical statistics and economical statistics. In 2017, the University’s statistics department was awarded a Grade A subject in a Subject evaluation program conducted by the Ministry of Education. In 2019, the Zhuhai Campus of Beijing Normal University launched its center for statistics and data science.
As required by the future development the center for statistics and data science, the following positions at Center detailed below are now open for application from candidate both domestically and overseas.

Top-notch talents、Young talents
Top-notch talents: Top-notch talents should have achieved high-level research outcomes and have a certain influence and recognition in their research field or discipline.
Young talents: Young talents should be young scholars with excellent teamwork ability and potential for scientific and technological innovation; or PhD or former postdoctoral researchers graduated from prestigious universities or with major in first-class disciplines; or young talents with over two years’ teaching and researching experience in first-class universities. The age requirement for Natural Sciences and Engineering Technology is no more than 35 years old.
Core Teaching Staff
Individual with PHD degree or held Teaching or research position at university or research institutes，below 45 year of age（in principle）.
For top-notch talents and young talents, they will have a professional title of associate professor and above, a yearly pre-tax income of 400-800 thousand yuan (annual merit pay calculated separately), a research start-up fund of 0.3-3 million yuan, a living subsidy of 0.5 to 1 million yuan, a recruitment quota of postgraduate students, a well-equipped apartment or rental allowance and the eligibility to purchase a shared ownership apartment on campus, and high-quality first-rate resources of pre-school age education and compulsory education for their children.
