On March 15th, our school held the spring semester student work meeting for the 2018-2019 school year in Room 104, and arranged student work in the new semester. Lv Guangming, deputy secretary of the Party Branch of the School of Statistics, Sun Liuping, full-time counselor of the School of Statistics, Guo Xueru, secretary of the Party Branch of the School of Statistics, students of the Graduate Union and the Student Union, attended the meeting.

      During the meeting, student representatives from different student groups reported on their work plans for the next semester, and gave clear explanations from thought leadership, academic research, cultural and sports activities to publicity and social practice. Professor Lv Guangming emphasized the importance of planning of major events and debriefed about the sports meeting and graduation party. At the same time, Professor Lv also emphasized the importance of a safe sports meeting and encouraged students to participate. He also emphasized that the graduation party should be creative so as to leave a good memory for the graduates.

      In addition, Professor Lv also suggested that graduate students and undergraduates should further enhance communication and cooperation, and promote the integration share of resources between undergraduates and postgraduates. Undergraduate and graduate student representatives actively responded and set up a communication group for effective communication and cooperation in various future events so as to improve our student work.
