On March 27th, Guo Peng and Liu Jing, two deputy directors of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Education, visited the China Education Economic Information Research Center in our school for research. Vice President Wang Shoujun also attended the research activity. Professor Du Yuhong, chief accountant of BNU, dean Song Xuguang, deputy dean Zhao Nan, and some teachers and students of the Center participated in the research activity.

 The research team first visited the database room and scientific research office of the Center and watched the recent research results of the center. Then, a symposium was held to learn about the work of the Center and its work plan in the future.

The research team spoke highly of the work of the Center in actively serving the national education and economic decision-making. They expressed the hope to continue to strengthen the in-depth cooperation with Beijing Normal University in education and economic information research. Suggestions were put forward in terms of team building, scientific research and think tank development.

Vice President Wang Shoujun welcomed the research team and introduced some measures taken by the university to strengthen the development of the education and economic think tank. He called for the Center to respond to major national education and economic strategies, be problem-oriented and play a bigger role in the education and economic decision-making process. 

The two sides also discussed recent important research topics of the Center.
