2015年7月26日至31日，第六十届世界统计大会在巴西里约热内卢召开。我院多位教师应邀出席本次大会。

邱东教授主持了 “A New Statistical Framework for Measuring Global Flow of Funds” 分会场的会议；宋旭光教授主持了“Improving the ICP Methodology in Emerging Economies”分会场的会议；陈梦根教授、王亚菲教授分别就“Mapping the Structure of the Global Flow-of-Funds Analysis”、“Measuring the Industrialization Level Using PPP Methods: A Global Perspective”等主题做了学术报告。

世界统计大会是国际上最重要的统计学术会议之一，由国际统计学会主办，每两年举办一次。
