报告摘要：The analysis of failure time data is the cornerstone and one of the most important part of biostatistics and plays an essential role in any areas such as clinical trials.  One main field that has provided a lot of applications and been pushing the advance and new development of failure time data analysis is medical studies such as AIDS and cancer studies.  In this talk, after brief introduction, we will discuss several research topics on the analysis of failure time data with the focus on variable selection based on interval-censored failure time data, a general and commonly occurring type of failure time data
