李勇，男，1958年9月出生，北京师范大学教授，博士导师。1991年于北京师范大学获理学博士学位，先后兼任中国统计教育学会副会长、教育部高等学校统计学类专业教学指导委员会委员等工作。长期从事统计学理论、应用和教学研究工作，合作编写专著和教材11本，合作发表学术论文70余篇，培养统计学硕士、博士研究生50余名。先后主持多项国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家重点基础研究发展计划（973计划）项目课题、国家精品课程建设项目。曾获得中国地震局防震减灾优秀成果奖、北京市高等教育教学成果奖、北京市高等学校教学名师奖和宝钢优秀教师奖。
